Coupling convenient evening shopping with festive holiday ambiance, “Share the Joy” returns to Downtown Davis this year!
Downtown merchants make holiday shopping convenient with extended hours and special promotions on Thursdays December 8 and 15, 6:00- 9:00 p.m. Both “Share the Joy” evenings will feature more than 25 participating businesses, some with special offers or discounts, holiday snack receptions and more.
Look for carolers and other entertainment to enhance your holiday spirit! During both nights, "What Four", a local mixed a cappella quartet, and "The Turtledoves," a singing & swinging trio, will take to the streets, strolling from store-to-store. On Dec. 15 only, the Davis High Advanced Treble Choir will also sing around Downtown.
In addition, there will be live holiday music played by classical guitarist Elizabeth Busch at The Artery, 207 F Street on December 15. And, at Riki Design, 202 E Street, local favorites The Souterrain will perform charming folk lullabies on both December 8 and December 15.

Originated in 2008 by Heather Caswell, owner of The Wardrobe, with the support of the DDBA, “Share the Joy” combines with the Downtown Davis Gift Card to fully express the organization’s emphasis on “Be Green, Shop Local”, and making it convenient for shoppers to do so.
