15th Annual UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day – Free Family Science Adventure!

Celebrate the 15th Annual UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day on Saturday, February 21, 2026! This free, all-ages, family-friendly event (also called “Super Science Day”) brings science to life across the UC Davis campus.
Explore 12 world-class natural history collections, museums, and research sites through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes tours, live animals, rare specimens, and expert talks. Discover incredible biodiversity, from insects and plants to wildlife, fish, fossils, and more – while learning about conservation, ecology, climate challenges, and protecting our natural world.
Participating highlights include:
- Bohart Museum of Entomology (touch live bugs!)
- UC Davis Botanical Conservatory & Center for Plant Diversity (rare plants & endangered species)
