Join the 112th Picnic Day – UC Davis’s largest student-run event and one of the nation’s biggest college open houses! On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the campus opens to everyone for a free, fun-filled day celebrating Aggie pride under the theme “The Journey Home: Destination Davis” highlighting belonging, community, safety, and responsibility.
Expect 200+ activities, including:
- Iconic Parade (with floats, bands, and the parade marshal)
- Battle of the Bands, fashion show, student organization fair
- Animal exhibits, science demos, ag displays, wiener dog races
- Live performances, food vendors, kids’ zones, and more!
Perfect for families, kids, alumni, locals, and visitors – bring the whole crew for exhibits, entertainment, and campus exploration. Free admission, no tickets needed (though some activities may have lines).
