SacHacks VII: UC Davis Hackathon Focused on Local Community Solutions!

UC Davis’s largest in-person hackathon, SacHacks VII, is back February 21-22, 2026! This 24-hour event brings together 200+ motivated students—builders, designers, coders, and innovators—to create prototypes addressing real-world problems.

This year, we’re prioritizing impact on local communities. Davis-area businesses, downtown shops, nonprofits, and city groups are invited to participate by submitting a challenge (e.g., “How can we improve foot traffic?” “Better tools for local sustainability?”). Student teams will brainstorm, design, and propose solutions tailored to your needs—often leading to fresh perspectives and potential collaborations.

Open to all students (no prior experience required). Free registration. Great opportunity for community engagement and talent scouting!
