Kat Anderson is an ethnoecologist\, writer\, gardener\, and gatherer whose work focuses on restoring relationships between people and native ecosystems. She holds a Ph.D. in Wildland Resource Science from UC Berkeley and has spent more than 25 years learning from Native American communities and exploring the connections between Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Western science. \nShe is also the author of Tending the Wild\, an influential exploration of Indigenous land stewardship and its role in biodiversity\, cultural restoration\, and resilient ecosystems. \nCome hear from Anderson\, discover the ideas behind her newest work\, and explore what it can mean to cultivate a deeper\, more reciprocal relationship with the natural world.
