Elf on a Shelf

Elf on a Shelf is the new Where’s Waldo! Beloved to children, we have joined this recent fad that has swept the nation. Families are invited to go on a scavenger hunt and visit participating downtown businesses to snap a selfie with the elf. Complete rules are on the flyer. Enter to win prizes by finding an elf at at least 15 locations. You have 2 weeks starting now—Good luck! We have 7 elves that are moving around so pay attention to the color and dates on the rules sheet, and have FUN out there with your children! Print the 2 sided sheet here.

Gingerbread Decorating Contest

Zumapoke & Lush Ice is hosting a gingerbread house decorating contest. They will display entries in their windows throughout the holidays. Super-duper prizes available for the best creations!!

Win a prize for best decorated gingerbread house in one of three categories:

Mail in your coloring page postmarked by December 16th to PO Box 72497, Davis, CA 95617 and be entered to win a prize. OR Drop it off to the Davis Downtown office at 826 2nd Street between Dec. 4th–18th. Hours: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 12-5pm or Tuesday 3:15-5:15pm

Davis Food Co-op Pumpkin Decorating Contest

We want to see your pumpkin decorating skills! For a chance to win a $50 Co-op gift card, enter the contest by following these simple steps:

1) Decorate your pumpkin! We will take it carved, painted, dressed up – however you would like to decorate it.
2) Drop it off at the bench in front of the Co-op between 4:30-5:00pm on Tuesday 10/27
3) We will display your pumpkin at the Co-op until 10/30 and collect votes
4) We announce the winner on Halloween!
