Pay only $15 for a packaged set of 10 unique Davisy postcards! The proceeds, roughly 2/3 of each purchase, will go to a downtown small business. Click here for our order form.

Our order form will close at midnight on Sunday, June 21st. Place your order online, and we’ll send you a Paypal invoice. Make the payment, then pick up your postcard packs from our downtown office at 826 Second Street, Davis, CA 95616. We will be open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. To pick up your cards after June 25th you will need to set an appointment with staff at info@davisdowntown.com

Heart to Hearts

Our online submission form is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry.

WE PUT OUT A CALL TO ARTISTS AND THE COMMUNITY ANSWERED! The Davis Downtown Business Association (DDBA) launched a collective art project called Heart to Hearts. The DDBA’s art subcommittee engaged dozens of community members to symbolically give their hearts to downtown small businesses.

We received submissions from artists of all ages and skill levels. Check out all 80 custom heart designs on our Facebook page! Please like your favorite posts, or go crazy and like them all!

We accepted drawings, paintings, graphic design and other creative submissions. The only rule was that artwork fit within the shape of a standard heart.

Now that all submissions have been gathered our creative team will create several collages from the entries to be printed on postcards. We will sell these postcards on our website and buyers will be able to select which business will receive the proceeds of their postcard purchase. Our local businesses love the community, and this art project offers the opportunity to show them some love back.

We are honored to continue giving full support to our small businesses and bringing some color to the community. WE LOVE DAVIS.

Elf on a Shelf

Elf on a Shelf is the new Where’s Waldo! Beloved to children, we have joined this recent fad that has swept the nation. Families are invited to go on a scavenger hunt and visit participating downtown businesses to snap a selfie with the elf. Complete rules are on the flyer. Enter to win prizes by finding an elf at at least 15 locations. You have 2 weeks starting now—Good luck! We have 7 elves that are moving around so pay attention to the color and dates on the rules sheet, and have FUN out there with your children! Print the 2 sided sheet here.
